Hangar 111 Exhaust and Surround Polish

As I had the exhaust off to deal with the leaks and I was waiting for parts to fix a few faults I found. I figured it was a good opportunity to give the exhaust a clean up and clean the exhaust exit surround on the rear clam.

As it cam off, looking pretty used.

A bit of Autoglym metal polish and some elbow grease.

One tailpipe polished

Both looking nice and shiny.

Silencer done.

Looks so much better.

Next on to the tail pipe surround on the clam which had a few years of exhaust staining on the paint.

Much easier to clean this with the exhaust out of the way.

Back to the colour it’s supposed to be.

Now I had to wait for the new gaskets and other parts to arrive so I could get everything back together.
