It was finally time to get the Elise out of hibernation once again and start with a quick check over and oil and filter change.

Undertray off and hang on, not this again. Not water this time but hydraulic fluid.

Didn’t take long to find the source.

The clutch slave cylinder is up there.

I pulled the rubber boot off then pushed the clutch pedal a few times.

A drip of fluid.

Not much I could do about this right away other than order a replacement so with that ordered first I did the oil change anyway.

The new slave cylinder arrived pretty quick. Supplied by an MG specialist of good quality not a cheapo one.

New slave cylinder in place then a good flush through with new brake fluid and air bled out, good to go again.

Then off to the Hub Classics meet.
