Got a genuine strut brace for sensible money.  Some of them seem to go for quite a lot on ebay but I didn’t fancy one of the cheap flimsy ones you can get so just waited for a genuine one to come up cheap enough.

It just fitted over the air filter with a little tweaking of it’s position.

Time to get rid of the crappy home made decat pipe made by a previous owner and fit a proper one with new gaskets.
