Time to make the most of the space behind the new door. We kept all the old roof timbers and any decent length off cuts from building the new roof and most of the pallets stuff got delivered on so I had plenty for building the structure. I just bought a few sheets of 18mm OSB for the walls, roof and floor.
Out comes the saw again.
Structure and walls going together.
Fence panel in.
Now it needs a roof.
Last bit of the roof being cut to fit around the down pipe.
I found a window behind the garage when we moved in so I kept hold of it and now I know why.
Outside all done and watertight.
After boarding out the floor in the back section that is not concreted (forgot to take a picture) I painted the floor, walls and ceiling.
Then built a bench with some of the leftover OSB.
I intend to use this space mostly for storage but also as a clean area. I can keep the door shut meaning the space won’t get covered in whatever mess I’m making in the garage. It will be nice to be able to place something down on a clean bench when the other one is a total mess!
