After a few days and a good few miles covered on our trip to the Lotus factory and around Norfolk the Elise looked OK from a distance as the weather had been good for the whole trip. But it was pretty grubby plus I wanted to get some wax on it so time for another clean.

Properly clean so back into the garage for a couple of coats of wax.

Long lasting wax so I shouldn’t feel the need to do it again until next summer.

I thought I’d use the end of a tin of Collinte 476 for the wheels. I don’t usually bother waxing wheels as wheel cleaner will just strip it off so quickly but the Elise won’t need cleaning that often and I’ll use a very weak mix of wheel cleaner so thought I’d see how the wax lasts.

Wheel done now tyre shine.

Ready to hit the road again.
