Was very busy with the garage extension for a few months so playing with cars stopped for ages. Still need to do the odd car job though.
Fan switch had died. Found this out while spending some time with the engine running on the drive while I tweaked the DET3 map for fueling on idle and initial throttle opening. Suddenly noticed it was heading towards overheating but caught it in time! Immediately wired a temporary switch to control the fan before ordering a replacement temperature switch.
And just passed it’s MOT this afternoon with no advisories.
DET3 is obviously fueling fine too.
Back to sorting the garage.
