The handbrake stopped working completely. I knew one of the two rear cables was a bit iffy so I bought a replacement.

Both of them were now stuck but I freed the LH one up, the RH one was so stuck I had to cut it free.

New and old compared. The new Pagid one has a plastic/nylon coating over the cable so that should stop it getting stuck like the Mazda one.

After some messing about with adjustment now the handbrake actually works properly for the first time in ages.

Might be a while before I get more done now as we’re extending the garage very soon. 🙂
