After a lot of dismantling, cleaning, painting and a bit of assembly of parts it’s finally time to start fitting parts back onto the Elise. There’s quite a few parts though which includes a fair number of nuts, bolts and washers. So first I took the time, with the help of my glamorous assistant, to lay every last piece out to be sure I had everything I needed for assembly to go smoothly with no annoying hold ups from missing or forgotten parts.

I also got some stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers so wherever possible and/or safe to do so I used stainless fixings.

Now, with everything laid out so neatly, it would be rude not to take one or three hundred pictures!

Looking forward to assembling all these nice clean new parts back into a working Elise. 🙂
