Jem and I both really like the idea of having a complete carbon grille and headlight surrounds on her Mini which wasn’t even an option when we fitted carbon bumpers and arches over 10 years ago but now you can get more carbon bits for Mini’s than ever before. The only problem is the carbon grilles and headlight surrounds are quite pricey. So we thought we’d better at least see what we think of the look of her Mini without the chrome bits up front before ever forking out a lot of cash for carbon bits.

Enter good old Plasti Dip!  Perfect for this job as we can just peel it off if we don’t like the look.

So far I think I like it. Jem was unsure to start with but she’s come round to it and thinks it looks best in some proper sunlight. We’re going to keep it as it is for a while to make sure we like it. 🙂
