Evo VI – Intercooler Freshen Up

(First posted on MLR forum in July 2012)

the intercooler was looking a bit grubby and tatty so i thought i’d pull the bumper off and see what i could do about it….

unfortunately 5 bolts were well and truly stuck in so the heads just sheared off when i tried to undo them. not a great start to the job

after cleaning didn’t really get it looking that much better i decided to paint it. I applied a thin layer of primer and some ‘chrome’ paint which worked very well.
